Through content personalization and email optimization, UMarketing increased email response by 140%. The program successfully connected with customers to show them that PPL Electric Utilities cares about helping people manage energy efficiently.
This pilot program also has long-term impacts for the company since it encouraged customers to change behavior. In fact, 13% of customers who viewed the video took action online, meaning more customers chose online tools rather than reaching out to the customer center for their needs.
